Overview

Background

The goal given by Polaris was to launch an AI-powered B2C recruitment platform that is horizontal sales focused, aiming to help candidates find the best job at startups/SMEs in the US.

We created PolarisJobs, a kickstart program that guides and motivates candidates through personalized job matching. I was the team lead for the design and usability testing.

We presented our designs for the Harvard Business School's product team. It is to be implemented starting Q3 2023.

Solution

Projects Goals

The product caters to two different audiences: Candidates seeking job opportunities and recruiters posting jobs and hiring. My work primarily target the needs and requirements of job candidates, aiming to help them find the best job at startups/ SMEs in the US.

What exactly is the problem?

A survey questionnaire was created to gather information from individuals of different level of work experiences. Our questions aimed at understanding the user journey, the challenges users currently faced during job hunt and the features users want/need to help them get hired faster when using recruitment platforms.
